Next week’s presidential debate between President Trump and Joe Biden will be held virtually, the Presidential Debate Commission announced on Thursday.
“The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate in separate remote locations,” the commission said.
The moderator – C-Span political editor Steve Scully – and the town hall participants will remain at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami but Biden and Trump will not.
The debate is scheduled for Oct. 15.
