Scarlet Lindsey | Civil Patriot
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to watch a movie in reverse? Sometimes it’s fascinating to rewind a show just to see everyone moving backwards.
It’s fun on the screen, not so fun in real life.
Over the past four weeks we’ve watched our new President quickly unravel much of President Trump’s great work. In a sense, he’s moving us in reverse, and at a rapid rate. We’re taking steps back, back, back. . .
To the Obama era.
And we all remember how fun those years were.
Back to false narratives and twisted ideologies.
Back to dictatorial rule.
Back to doing all they can to change our views on gender.
Back to changing the narrative about nuclear families.
Back to more government interference in our businesses.
Back to more government control in our personal lives.
Back to higher taxes.
Back to caring more about climate change than jobs.
Back to caring more about the environment than people.
Back to pushing the abortion agenda.
Back to greater mandates and restrictions on our small businesses.
Back to emphasis on racial divide.
Back to blaming conservatives for everything.
Back to wondering if anyone can be trusted.
Back to watching the MSM (mainstream media) gush over their candidate of choice.
Back to the future. . .with a radical left-leaning candidate who somehow led people to believe he was moderate.
Back to a globalist viewpoint.
Clearly, he’s not moderate. Otherwise those 52 Executive Orders would never have been signed in such rapid succession.
Already Republican leaders are calling him out. Just one day after Biden delivered his inaugural address, Mitch McConnell had this to say:
“On the Biden administration’s very first day, it took several big steps in the wrong direction.” McConnell went on to encourage Biden to “remember that he does not owe his election to the far left.”
On January 18th, the Daily Caller posted a USA Today/Suffolk University poll showing that 65% of respondents said the country is headed in the wrong direction, a 16% increase since an earlier (Dec. 18th) poll. The December poll found that 49% of respondent thought the country as on the wrong track.
So, what can conservatives do when everyone else is walking up the down stairs, taking us back in time?
We can (and must) continue the trek up, up, up the right staircase. That means we’ve got to look ahead to 2022 and 2024. We’ve got to find the right candidates for the right time so that we really can turn things around once again and put this country we love on the right track.
