We knew it was coming. The U.S. couldn’t take in this many people so quickly without a huge price tag attached. But today’s news that the Biden administration has given an $86 million contract to a Texas non-profit to house 1200 migrants in hotel rooms?

Maybe you heard about it.

The contract, through Texas-based nonprofit Endeavors, provides 1,239 beds and “other necessary services.” The families will receive a comprehensive health assessment, including COVID-19 testing. The announcement comes days after White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Thursday that the White House planned to provide 2.5 million doses of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine to Mexico. (Fox Business)

I have no words.

Wait, yes I do. This is totally screwed up and wholly unfair.

I have a good friend, a neighbor, who’s working two jobs to support his family of five. His wife also holds down a full-time job. These are hard-working American citizens who pay their taxes, contribute to the economy, and live responsibly. No one is providing their housing. No one is giving them a comprehensive free health assessment. No one is offering them “other services,” (which, I’m assuming, includes food stamps). They are earning it all by the sweat of their brow. They work long, hard hours to make sure the rent is paid, the lights remain on, and food is on the table.

Maybe you can relate. Perhaps you’re one of those “hard-working American taxpayers” too. I know I am.

So, here’s my question related to the folks who are getting all of this for free, simply for showing up and knocking on our door:

If it’s going to cost $86 million to house 1200 people for six months, how much will it cost the taxpayers for the multiplied thousands more who are already here and/or headed our way? Border officials have already warned that an exorbitant number of children will arrive at our border in 2021. They’re estimating nearly 120,000.

I was never very good in math, but I do know that 120,000 is 100 times more than 1200. So, let’s multiply $86 million x 100 and see what the price tag will be for six months alone, just for the kids:

$8,600,000,000.

Did I get that right?

Anyone want to whip out their checkbook and cover that for us? No? I don’t really blame you.

So, why? Why in the world would the Democrats think any of this was okay? So that they can garner more votes? Even the most unreasonable Democrat has to confess this is a foiled plan before it even begins. Sure, these folks will be grateful. Yes, they’ll probably vote for Democrats initially. But, will their love affair with their keepers carry on through the years?

I don’t think so.

Let’s get real, folks—Trump had a massive number of Hispanic voters. Nearly half the voters along the Texas border voted for Trump. So, grateful immigrants don’t necessarily equate to liberal voters, at least not for long. Pretty soon most reasonable people have to conclude that a welfare system doesn’t work.

For now, though, we have a crisis. And it’s growing daily as our borders are inundated. These folks are coming in droves because they believe they’ve been invited. (Thanks, Joe!)

They might also be coming for another reason, one no one has thought of until now. Stay with me for PART TWO of this piece to learn more about why so many are flooding into the southern states.

  1. It’s in our largest cities where the most voter fraud takes place – in 2007 the UN actually came to observe our elections and were horrified at what they saw. NO ID was required! You know it’s bad when the UN is horrified.
Also, the FBI investigated voter fraud when JFK was elected and said he was not really the winner due to massive voter fraud in Chicago – by union members.

  2. Isn’t it kind of odd that none of these Spanish speakers can find any work in all of South America? Where everyone speaks their language? Isn’t that odd?
Translation costs government a lot of money. In welfare offices, in prisons, in the COURTS.
Some of the illegals speak rare languages. Then you have to go to huge expense just to talk to them.
One time I was in a medical office and a small group of three women was going from desk to desk. I didn’t pay much attention. Then one of the woman practically shouted that she was not related to this family but was a state employee who was paid to translate.
The answer they kept getting while begging was ‘no’ but the family just kept asking her to go on – asking over and over! She was steamed!!!!!
So, we’re not only paying for phone translation, but for someone to go in person!
And there is the food stamps, housing, cash assistance – sometimes they get around the rules by claiming their husbands have abused them.
