Honesty is more than not lying. It is truth telling, truth speaking, truth living, and truth loving.
James E. Faust

Remember that game called “Telephone” you used to play as a kid? One person would whisper something into another person’s ear. They would whisper it into the next ear, and so on and so on. By the time you got to the end of the line the story was completely different from where it started.

That’s where we are today. The Democrats hold the phone. They’re whispering to Big Tech and the media. Big Tech and the news stations whisper to the people. And the people try to whisper back, but in the end—thanks to many of the truth-tellers being censored—only the nonsensical remains. It’s getting harder and harder to know the truth because the ones who started the story kicked it off with a lie. (Or, at the very least, a strong slant.)

Over the next few weeks I plan to unpack some of the lies coming from The Left. Many of their narratives are dangerous and manipulative and we’ve got to stop falling for them. With Big Tech and the media on their side, bold-faced lies are often perpetrated as truths, which makes them seem real. (That’s not a riot you’re seeing! These are mostly peaceful protests.) But most of these well planned-out stories are actually narratives, meant to propel the sheep to follow the shepherd at any cost.

Are you a sheep?

I say it’s time to stop the spread of the lies. We’ll have to do it exactly the way our parents handled lying when we were kids: call it out. As my daddy would say, “Call a spade a spade.” Or, in this case, “Call a narrative writer a liar.”

When they say: Most conservatives are racist.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Most Trump supporters are conspiracy theorists.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Our border policies are safe.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Most police hate people of color.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: That wasn’t a riot, silly. It was a peaceful protest.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Gender is a fluid thing.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Deplorables are idiots.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Deplorables are dangerous.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: You can trust us.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: We want unity and reconciliation.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: It used to be right but now it’s wrong.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: It’s used to be wrong but now it’s right.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: It’s not called murder because that baby’s only a clump of cells.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: No human is illegal.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: You can keep your doctor.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Masks will save you.
You say: How many will I have to wear to make that true?

When they say: Trust us, we know what we’re doing.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: It’s not really censorship.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Big Tech is neutral.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Equity trumps equality.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Of course there was no voter fraud.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: We’ve got great fact-checkers for every area of your life. You can trust them.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Conservatives deserve to be punished.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: We believe all women.
You say: That’s a lie. (Remember Tara Reade?)

When they say: Our lockdowns are good for the country.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: It takes a village to raise your child.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: Mail-in ballots are safe.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: There are no puppet and puppeteers.
You say: That’s a lie.

When they say: We don’t really want to take away your freedoms.
You say: That’s a lie.

On and on they go, telling one lie on top of another. It’s time to speak up, conservatives. No more allowing ourselves to be steam-rolled. No more second-guessing the truth or getting caught in their trap.

Stay tuned over the following weeks as we unpack these false narratives, one at a time. Together we’ll stop the spread of those lies, once and for all!
